The Professional Graduate Diploma in IT is for students who are dedicated to working in the IT industry and are looking to gain depth of knowledge and expertise.
Completion of the level 6 Professional Graduate Diploma provides you with a complete and comprehensive career foundation and eligibility for MSc study at many universities around the world.
What is the professional IT project?
You’ll need to produce a 10,000-word professional IT project to complete your Professional Graduate Diploma in IT.
Is there any exemption?
If you already hold a qualification that covers the HEQ syllabus, you can apply for exemption from specific modules (no more than two).Check exemption criteria

How Does Learning Take Place

- You must have completed the BCS Level 5 Diploma in IT exams
Progression Options
Certification
After sitting (and passing) the level 6 exams, you will receive the Level 6 Professional Graduate Diploma in IT from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
Please note that this exam is billed separately.

Duration: 1 year
Registration Fees: N20,000 (new students only)

When Can I Seat the Exam?
The BCS HEQ exams can be sat twice a year, typically in April and in October. You should aim to have completed your exam registration about 2 months before then. Please note that exam registration is not the same as registering for the training.
