Course Description
The BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice covers how to develop a business strategy and how to explore a business issue. The exam targets people who already have some level of familiarity with business analysis and who are able to apply the knowledge in a range of scenarios including;
- The strategic context
- How to analyze stakeholder perspectives
- How to analyze and model business activities
- How to identify potential solutions
- How to make the business case
How Does Learning Take Place
- Classes are online, delivered through our learning management portal, and live classes on Zoom
- Classes are a combination of live and recorded classes, ensuring that you can learn at your own convenience without taking out the “live classroom feel”.
- You can interact with your instructor(s) during live classes or ask questions on the forum
- You are expected to submit specific tasks with weekly deadlines.
Prerequisites
- This course is intended for anyone interested in building a career in Business Analysis. It is a good idea, but not compulsory, to have passed through the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis.
- There are no prerequisites.
Progression Options
Certification
At the end of the course, you will be able to sit for the certification exam. This may be conducted either on campus at Twim Institute, or online via remote proctoring. On passing this exam, you will receive the BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (also known as the British Computer Society). Please note that this exam is billed separately. Our students enjoy a discounted rate of GBP 200.
