Course Description

*Please note that this is an exam-focused course that focuses on teaching you the concepts in the syllabus so that you can pass the exam. If you would like a more practical and extensive foundation in business analysis, you should consider Twim Institute’s “Business Analysis Accelerator (Intensive Course + Projects)” course.

This course prepares you for the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis exam. It includes the following sections:

• The role and competencies of a business analyst
• How to identify and evaluate options for improving your business
• Investigative techniques, including interviews, workshops, prototyping, and scenarios
• How to categorize, analyze and manage stakeholders
• Making a business case and assessing feasibility
• How to document, manage and validate requirements

  • Classes are online, delivered through our learning management portal, and live classes on Zoom
  • Classes are a combination of live and recorded classes, ensuring that you can learn at your own convenience without taking out the “live classroom feel”.
  • You can interact with your instructor(s) during live classes or ask questions on the forum
  • Prerequisites

  • This course is intended for anyone interested in building a career in Business Analysis.
  • There are no prerequisites.

  Progression Options

  The BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis can be earned as a standalone certification. It can also be used as part of the requirements for the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.

  Certification

  At the end of the course, you will be able to sit for the certification exam. This may be conducted either on campus at Twim Institute, or online via remote proctoring. On passing this exam, you will receive the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (also known as the British Computer Society).
